You send documents. Stargazer writes a script from them with an AI model, reads that script aloud with AI text to speech, and puts the finished episode in a private podcast feed.

The model is instructed to use only the material you sent, and to mark which document each claim came from.

Your feed's address contains a long random string, and that string is the only thing protecting it. Anyone holding the address can read the feed and play the episodes, because podcast apps send no login. Treat it like a password.

Signing in is an email link. There is no password to choose and none to lose. A link works once, and it expires 60 minutes after it is sent.

So whoever can read your email can get into your account. Use an address only you can read.

A browser stays signed in for thirty days at a time.

$25 a month buys the private feed and 25 episode credits per billing period. One credit makes one episode.

Included credits belong to the period they were granted in. Whatever is left when that period ends does not carry over.

If you want more inside a period, a pack is 10 extra credits for $10. Pack credits never expire, and they are spent only once the included ones are gone. You can buy up to 10 packs in a billing period.

If a generation fails after you have paid for it, a credit goes back on the account. That one does not expire either.

Cancel from the subscription page whenever you like. The button opens Stripe's own cancel flow.

Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. The feed keeps working until then.

If a renewal payment fails, the feed keeps playing while the card is retried. The account is marked payment failing and shows the date the retries run out.

If they run out, the subscription is cancelled and the feed is retired. A retired feed stops answering: podcast apps get a "gone" response instead of episodes.

Your episodes survive that for thirty days. Resubscribe inside those thirty days and the feed comes back on the same address with everything you made still on it. After thirty days the show comes down and its audio is deleted, and resubscribing gets you a fresh address and an empty show.

A credit is spent the moment an episode is generated. Spent credits are not refunded.

Cancelling partway through a period does not refund that period. You keep the feed and the credits until it ends.

You need the right to use the documents you send. Don't send anything you are not allowed to hand to a service like this, and don't send anything unlawful.

Your documents stay yours. We claim nothing over them.

The audio is yours too. Play it, share it, publish it somewhere else, whatever you want to do with it.

Nobody reads a submission before it becomes an episode. There is no review step and no queue, which makes what you send your responsibility.

We can suspend or close an account that is being used for something unlawful, or that is being used to attack the service.

The script and the audio are machine made. They get things wrong, they misread documents, and they sometimes sound more certain than the source material justifies. Check anything that matters against the original.

Stargazer is a small service. It goes down sometimes and generations fail sometimes. When one fails after you paid for it, the credit comes back, and that is the remedy.

We don't promise to run forever. If we shut it down, we will tell you before we do and stop billing you.

If these terms change, the new version replaces this one and the date at the top changes with it. If a change affects what you pay or what you get, we will email you before it takes effect.
